In 2015, the Office of Service-Learning is partnering with many other campus and community constituents on the Watershed UGA initiative. This initiative seeks to use the local streams and watersheds on and around UGA's campus as a way to connect coursework, sustainability, and service-learning to our local context, and to enhance student learning of ecology and other content areas. Videos, course teaching and learning modules, and many resources are available on the Watershed UGA website.
Two of our 2015-16 Service-Learning Fellows are involved in this initiative, as are faculty, staff, and students representing a number of partners, including the Odum School of Ecology, UGA's Office of Sustainability, the Graduate School, the CIRTL Network, and more.
