The Assistants in Community Engagement (ACE) program engages federal work-study (FWS) students with the OSL in implementing, supporting, and promoting academic service-learning and engagement activities that link course-based learning to community-based activities and projects.
These positions currently work with UGA's Campus Kitchen to assist with daily Campus Kitchen logistics such as preparing coolers and containers for food packaging; tracking and reporting efforts; and organizing and managing volunteer shifts. This is an opportunity to directly help the Athens community while also developing valuable skills in program management. Ideal candidates are reliable, organized, and willing to be flexible with the variety of tasks that will arise. Access to a reliable car is required. Apply through UGA's Federal Work Study positions site at https://my.osfa.uga.edu/fws/jobs.
